We live in a divided, turbulent world where freedom, truth, and goodness are controversial. No people, tribe, or nation can long stand that fails to maintain respect for their Creator, for the Laws of Nature and Nature’s God; such divine respect being necessary for any society united in goodness.

As the absence of virtue leads to the dissolution of society, destruction, anarchy, and war, we therefore, the undersigned, with respect and reverence to the Supreme Judge, make a solemn Oath to change the world. We acknowledge such mighty change must begin within ourselves.

Therefore, we the undersigned, make this Oath in solidarity‐with firm reliance on divine Providence‐seeking these virtues may prevail in our souls:

To the fulfillment of this solemn Oath, we summon the Powers of the Universe and the Divine heritage within ourselves, with all our hope for goodness and honor to prevail. And to this end, We Pledge our lives, our fortunes, and our future to the betterment of our characters, to the elevation of our societies, and to the building of a Better World.
